Lived in a lot of them
In different places and time
And the song goes, a house is not a home.
The best I have lived in was in my grandmother's house
This was during summer vacations.
We will stay there for a couple of months and play to our heart's content
We were young then
No worries, just a home among families
During those days everything looks huge as one is small
We will run around the house and make it our home
There was room for everybody
My grandma will be there and we will play a game of bingo
Fun and simple joy
That is me in the picture with my head looking down
rushing toward one of our summer vacations to my grandma's house
To My Grandma's House
If I am not mistaken I think we can fit all seven of us in that beetle
The car that we will borrow from my Auntie to go to my grandma.
My brothers in their silly grin and
My little sister overwhelmed by all the rush to the house.
Houses fascinates me.
In this blog I will share with you my various insights about the buildings we call home.
From my point of view from back then until today.
I plan to recall and record all these memories and I hope you will find them amusing.
I am sure you have similar stories such as my summer vacations when we were young.
I'd like to hear about them.
Stories before the internet shared in the internet.
